John Madden is an American former football coach and sportscaster. The legendary American football icon won Super Bowl XI as head coach of the Oakland Raiders over the Minnesota Vikings.
John Madden after retiring from coaching became a well-known color commentator for National Football League telecasts. He was born on April 10, 1936, in Austin, Minnesota.
